Madeira branded acoustic and electric guitars comprised a 1970s–1980 line of Japanese and Korean assembled imports, distributed by the USA company Guild Musical Instruments of New Jersey.
The logo is based on Libra, S.H. de Roos’s uncial designed for the Amsterdam Type Foundry in 1938. In some applications like the one shown above, the letterforms were joined up.
