My past thoughts of the future are drastically different from the current reality. I grew up watching cyberpunk animations and movies, creating unrealistic expectations for technology in my near future. Thus, the way I saw the year 2021 when I was 8 years old feels almost sentimental. I wonder what makes this past imagination of the future so special, especially as I live intimately with today’s technology.The idea of transparency can also relate to the nature of our curiosity.
