Tracés deals with the techniques and cultures of building. Tracés is a reference journal in architecture, engineering and urban planning, and has been a partner of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA) for 140 years. […] Tracés keeps abreast of the latest developments in the built environment in French-speaking Switzerland by publishing recent achievements, disseminating academic research and giving a voice to the opinions of those involved in the culture of the built environment. In its thematic dossiers, it takes a critical look at the changes taking place in the natural and built environment, and at the evolution of lifestyles and uses of space.
Starting in September 2020, we designed the monthly covers in a different minimalistic style, always exclusively using Univers. The typography is adapted to the topic of the respective issue. Our solution provides a strong position and clear identity in this busy architecture market.
Tracés 3512, September 2021: This cover is designed to tell about how some architecture take another notion of the time. In French, temps – time – is a unit of a modular process used to build architectural elements.
Tracés 3516, January 2022: A typogram about how to protect heritage in architecture. Especially how to deal with sacral spaces such as churces and holy buildings.
