The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity website
Published in English in 1976 and in Italian in 1988, The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity is a short, sometimes comical critical essay by Prof. Carlo M. Cipolla.
The site is a reproduction of the essay based on the English edition by publisher W.H. Allen (Penguin Books) with attached publisher’s note by The Mad Millers, and the Italian edition by publisher Il Mulino found in the book Allegro ma non troppo.
The site is designed to be optimized on any technology and device used. Based on a form-based structure, text and graphics adapt to every need without loss of fluidity. Maintaining a simple and intuitive approach, the site meets the need for responsiveness and functionality for a better reading experience.
I’m using only Times New Roman, from text to links, both to reduce rendering times and to make the site responsive. Regular, Italic and Bold are the weights chosen for the content structure. Choice based on the need to provide a user-friendly site that meets three foundamental characteristics: fluidity, responsiveness, and visual hierarchy.
