Only 30% of professionals in the technology area are women. Código M is born to change that. It is an initiative created by the tireless team at Laboratoria, which proposes monthly, virtual and free meetings to invite more Latin American women to discover the thousands of possibilities that exist for them in the digital world.
Lima based studio Sed created a bold and colorful identity for this online learning initiative. The identity is based on an extensive use of long shadows / extrusions constructing dynamic compositions in the vivid quadricolor palette. The shaded logo is set in Luke Prowse’s NaN Holo Mono, a nod to the coding languages Código M intends to teach. The monospaced typeface is also used for most body copy, while titles are set in Vernon Adams’ Anton in all caps.
