BEING TERRIFIED IS JUST THE BEGINNING!
The title treatment looks a lot like Tension, a bold condensed sans with a vibrating effect, made at Photo-Lettering some time between 1960 and 1964. In this case, though, the designers apparently started with Futura Extra Bold Condensed and added the shiver effect themselves, via a stretched halo made of horizontal lines. Compare to Tension in use for Shock Waves, another mid-1970s horror movie poster.
