Bird is a Dutch independent accessories brand founded by Anja Fijma. In their Amsterdam-based atelier, Bird is handcrafting raincovers to protect precious, beloved handbags from bad weather conditions.
The brand creates protection the same way a person would for its loved ones or like a bird cares for its offspring, hence the name.
For Bird’s logo, Fijma customized Grand Slang (Nikolas Type) and paired it with Grand Slang Italic and Tenor Sans by Denis Masharov for the overall identity.
