That’s not Futura; it’s Vogue with its many alternate characters, which is distinguished by a very round C.
Can’t fool Bryson! Thanks for the catch. IIRC, I did check Vogue, but failed to consult the range of alternates. A true shapeshifter, like Sans Serif!
Vogue with “Special No. 2” (i.e. Futura forms) it is. Here’s a full glyph set for Vogue Bold, for future reference. No. 3 is for emulating Kabel, No. 6 for Tempo, and No. 8 for Futura’s early constructivist alternates. I wonder what happened to Nos. 5 and 7.
