Un Punto Fijo Para Orientarse / A Fixed Point to Be Oriented
Book design for artists Shirin Salehi and Inma Herrera. A Fixed Point to Be Oriented compiles the visual documentation of their exhibition with the same title that took place at the Miró Mallorca Foundation in 2021, as well as a conversation between the two artists and the Mallorcan artist Mónica Fuster and an insert with additional photographic content.
The bilingual book (Spanish and English) was published thanks to the support of local and international contributors through a crowdfunding initiative. It was printed and bound by Tallinn Book Printers in Estonia at the end of 2023. Flip took care of the prepress. The papers used are Fedrigoni Materica and Munken Lynx. The book has 144 pages plus a 48 pages insert and measures 17×24 cm. The first presentation took place in Galería F2 (Madrid) in January 2024.
