  1. I just wanted to state that I agree with the vast majority of your comments here, but I think a little leniency should be given to the small caps. I agree that is is probably too loose, but this is most likely the technology and not the designer.

    Unfortunately (as I have had to deal with a number of times) all web browsers except Firefox do not accurately deal with sub-pixel rendering of type. So you basically have to work with pixel increments when tracking type. Leaving you with the decision of too tight or too loose. Typically I end up going with loose rather than crammed up tense type, which Billy may have done here as well.

  2. Phenomenal write up and analysis. I agree with everything except the note on the kerning on the small caps. I think when the type gets that small this extra kerning actually helps out readability.
