This is a newspaper ad from Dec. 13, 1983, placed in the Montreal Gazette. The mall’s name is set in neo-Thunderbird, while the body text is Monotype Old Style.
Shown here are two newspaper ads from the Montreal Gazette. One from 1968 and another from 1983, both advertising the Plaza Côte des Neiges shopping centre. This mid-sized shopping centre was built in 1968 and houses about 100 stores.
Of particular note is the use of neo-Thunderbird for the mall’s wordmark. This wordmark was in use roughly between the mid-1960s and the early 1980s.

Spartan also had condensed italics in at least one style, and I think that’s what used here, not Twentieth Century Medium Condensed Italic.
