Wayfinding system at Jakobshorn in Davos. The system dates back to the late 1980s if I remember correctly. All elements have been cut in vinyl. The typeface is SNV – Schweizer Nationaler Verkehrsschrift condensed. The typography is still pure, unlike the signs at Parsenn, where the numerals are in Futura and later aditions were done with Helvetica.

Weirdly enough these are actually the Austrian norm typefaces “Engschrift Austria” and “Mittelschrift Austria”.
I don’t know why the Swiss would have used them since they have their own, the “SNV” which is mentioned here…
