Lost Connection

Lost Connection was made by Kirsten Humpfer, Andromachi Theodoridou, Julian Törke, Maximilian Pfandl, and Michelle Welger as a student project at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd.

The book delves into the complexities of modern digital isolation, blending introspective narrative with minimalist design.

The project thoughtfully explores the tension between connectivity and solitude, making it a resonant piece in our digital age. It represents the loss and destruction that manifest when the original connection between man and nature is weakened or broken.

The book is set in Romie Regular and Italic (designed by Margot Lévêque), creating a sense of subtle elegance. The complementary sans serif (visible in the fifth image) is ES Allianz Light.
