The book Woodtopia, published in 2019 by Art & Build (now ArtBuild) in celebration of their 30th anniversary at the Musée National d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris, is dedicated to the architecture firm’s contributions to the field of timber construction. Designed by Hudson Catty, founded by graphic designers Lenny Hudson and Clémence Catty, the project embodies their commitment to supporting cultural institutions, architects, artists, and businesses in crafting their communication materials.
Printed by Graphius Group and coordinated by Metropolis Communication, the book features typography set in Surt by Blaze Type and ITC Clearface by Victor Caruso, which together enhance its aesthetic and readability. With a focus on a clean graphic universe, the design highlights a strong typographic identity, a unique approach to color and imagery, and a sensitive engagement with materials and techniques.
