Planet Earth Is Blue and There’s Nothing I Can Do installation

This art piece reflects on humanity’s capacity for change, juxtaposing the cyclical motion of a blue bouncing ball with the cunning lyrics of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity”. The LED curtains symbolizes the intersection of technology and existential thought, questioning whether or not our actions are genuine, while also allowing us to attempt to transform our patterns. Through its minimalist yet evocative design, the work invites viewers to ponder the fragility of our planet and the limits of human agency in shaping its future. And there is an empty chair in front, adding the narrator’s dimension.
