Hatria
Omnes is the branding typeface of Hatria, the Italian manufacturer of bathroom ceramics and sanitary ware. Do we mind seeing our creative product associated with toilets? Not at all! Much like fonts, they are a very big deal in human innovation that we all take for granted.
Many users of Omnes opt for weights from the bolder end of the family’s range. We get it: that’s where the typeface’s characteristic roundedness comes into its own. Not so with Hatria. Their visual identity is fully committed to the elegance of Omnes’s airier weights, which are a great match for the award-winning industrial designs.
The responsible agency, Milan-based Hangar Design Group, uses Omnes throughout the various formats of the corporate communication, starting with the logo in all-caps Omnes Light. Hatria’s website, social media graphics and product catalogs primarily rely on the Condensed width, for headlines and body copy, and in Extralight to Medium weights. When a title really requires more emphasis, they reach for the Semibold.
