Designed by Chicago artist Turtel Onli, who also published graphic novels, this 1974 album for two jazz greats – Joseph Jarman and Anthony Braxton – has a vibrant cover with hand lettering.
On the rest of the packaging, we see a number of typefaces. The label features Futura Bold, Franklin Gothic, a stamped condensed gothic, and two weights of Metro No. 2. The accompanying one-sheet has a lighter weight of Futura, Sans Serif (Monotype’s copy of Kabel), and an unidentified roman. Modernique is used for “Two Decades of jazz & blues”. The Delmark logo appears to be based on Venus Extended.

Thanks, Dom. I hadn’t heard of Turtel Onli before. Sorry to hear he passed away earlier this year.
We generally don’t accept works that primarily feature lettering. I’m making an exception here, as the record label and the one-sheet do indeed use fonts, as you say, and some of them are rather uncommon. The irregularly spaced roman used for the text on the one-sheet appears to be Varityper’s adaptation of ATF Garamond. The Varityper was a proportional typewriter. Their Garamond is shown in a 1967 specimen.
