In the 1988 film Big, thirteen-year-old Josh Baskin, played by Tom Hanks, makes a wish in front of a fortune teller machine called Zoltar. Frustrated at his age, he wishes to be “big”. The card dispensed by the machine had a front side with an illustration and hand lettering spelling, “Zoltar Speaks”. On the reverse side is “Your Wish is Granted” in an art-nouveau style. The typeface is Artistik, a late-19th-century design that was revived in the 1970s by Letraset, which is likely how the type was applied for this prop.
