A visual cut-up between a poster of Karl Bickel (Alter/Invalidität, 1925) and Dafi Kühne (Wilkommen, 2018) for an exhibition on a juxtaposition of the two different approaches and contexts.
The cut-up poster has been letterpress printed from etched and hand-cut linoleum to reproduce mainly the complicated Bickel hand – which was originally printed in stone lithography.
