“I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time when Sony Music was looking for a Brazilian designer to create the artwork for the album of the World Cup. Since the beginning, I wanted to show how culturally mixed Brazil is, so I decided to invite two other illustrators to collaborate with me: the very talented Bruno Osório and Mr. Peruca. If the intention was to show diversity, mixing my style with theirs seemed to be a good start. Together, we developed the whole graphic universe for the album and the singles.” — João Lauro Fonte
