Robert F. Kennedy’s account of the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 was released in 1969, a year after his assassination. This is the jacket of the UK edition published by Macmillan.
To make room for the compact linespacing, the ‘O’ of Walter Hattenschweiler’s Schmalfette Grotesk (now known as Haettenschweiler) is placed too high here, but the dense type has a powerful effect on this cover.
