The logo as it appeared in a 1996 ad by Berkeley Systems. The text at the top uses Franklin Gothic Condensed and Extra Condensed. “The irreverent quiz show party game” is in some version of Helvetica Inserat. “Free Demo” and the URL use Eagle.
Cover for You Don’t Know Jack: 5th Dementia is the thirteenth installment in the series, released in 2000. The secondary font is the bold italic style of ITC Benguiat Gothic.
My wife and I played this game back in the '90s and it was a lot of fun. I recall that the use of Franklin Gothic extended to the typography of the game itself, which felt very sophisticated and unusual at the time.
I remember this and getting a free demo on the cover of a magazine. It was around the time I (at 15) was discovering my interest in typefaces and graphic design. From memory I think on the CR-ROM the font files were names not just Franklin Gothic. I also remember around this time seeing Bill Berry the drummer in R.E.M. wearing a You Don’t Know Jack branded baseball cap.
The mid-to-late 90s were a huge time for Franklin Gothic as Microsoft was using it across their products and the UK Labour Party won a massive majority government branded as newLabour and all set in weights of Franklin Gothic.

One of my favorite, if not, simply the best video game franchise ever!
Thank you Florian the moderator for adding changes for this!

First of all Ben, do you mean “CD-ROM”? Cause it looks like there was a misspelling there.
Second of all, Bill Berry wearing a YDKJ hat?
Third of all, wow great story I would make that into a book
