Terrahawks is a science fiction series that first aired in the United Kingdom in 1983. It was created by Gerry Anderson of Thunderbirds fame together with Christopher Burr.
The opening sequence as well as the episode title and the end credits all use Spectrum. Designed by Martin Wait and released with Letraset in 1978, the condensed sans was soon after renamed Spectre. Wait later released two digital versions, New Spectra and Spectra New Style.

Wonderful, I have been trying to identify this font for some time. There is an informative video on YouTube concerning the creation of the title sequence – the font is not identified by name, but there is much of interest – including plentiful use of Letraset. Here is a link:
