Ted Maksymowicz (c.1916–1973) was born in New York into a family of Polish origin. He played violin and trumpet, became a bandleader, and also worked as radio host and DJ. This album from 1959 is dedicated to Polish dance melodies, such as kujawiak, polonaise, polka, oberek, and mazurka.
