Johannes Rigal

This is a corporate identity for Johannes Rigal, a photographer, urbanist and media educator from Berlin. He merges urban photography with the mission to make art and culture more accessible. 


The design features the elegant Mars by Production Type, rooted in vernacular type from city facades from the 20th century – perfectly echoing the artist’s work. Two interconnected icons represent his dual focus: photography workshops and personal artistic projects. The supporting typefaces are Forma DJR Mono and Forma DJR Display by David Jonathan Ross.
