Alexander S. Pushkin Sheremetyevo International Airport (Internal code: ШРМ, IATA: SVO, ICAO: UUEE), more commonly known as Sheremetyevo International Airport or simply Sheremetyevo is the busiest of the four international airports that serve the city of Moscow. It is the busiest airport in Russia and the post-Soviet states, as well as the ninth-busiest airport in Europe.
Above the central entrance, the inscription “Шереметьево Международный аэропорт” (“Sheremetyevo International Airport”) is written in the China (1975) font. It uses the Cyrillic extension. The letter Ж has been modified.

Hi Alex, when you write “it uses the Cyrillic extension”, do you mean Terminator Cyr (2001), the font made by Alex Kazantsev as an extension of Allen R. Walden’s Terminator (1993)?
The sign compared to a resetting in all-caps Terminator Cyr
To my eyes, it looks like it could have served as the basis (including the Ж). This would mean the sign is from after 2001. Or is there another Cyrillic version of China?
I’m not a good English writer. But most likely, yes, the Terminator font is used in this case.
