From a View to a Death is the third novel by the English writer Anthony Powell, first published in 1933.
It’s possible this design was never published because I don’t find this book edition in any shops online.

This might be Grotesque No. 18, which was lighter than Grotesque No. 9.

Stephen, this edition was indeed published. This seller has the date wrong (it’s 1968 as you wrote, not 1955), but they kindly share an image. The publisher is Little Brown & Co.
