  3. The magazine logo indeed is based on Manfred Klein’s interpretation of Roman square capitals. The current version as seen on the website is not set in Optimus Princeps, but redrawn, since the quality of this freebie is pretty shoddy. The comparison below shows the Kinfolk wordmark (top) compared to Optimus Princeps Semi Bold (bottom). Especially note the O. Out of the box, Optimus Princeps is unusable, see also this post about The Kinfolk Table.
