Additional cover text and story book interiors are set in Optima. For Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell, a 30-minute audio drama released on vinyl and cassette with no Read-Along book, additional text on the front and back of the album cover is set in Eurostile.
The Star Wars logo and “The Further Adventures” text are custom lettering, potentially based on Helvetica Black.
Of further typographic interest, Corporate Gothic was also used in 1982 for the opening titles of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, a film which changed its original title, The Vengeance of Khan, to avoid clashing with the in-production Revenge of the Jedi.
