A rather minimalist yet striking – and quintessentially 1970s – cover, relying on the futuristic appeal of Marvin and the combination of two loud colors. Originally issued by Face Photosetting in the UK in 1969, Marvin was added to Letraset’s library of faces for dry-transfer lettering sometime before 1971, which certainly helped with its international dissemination.
Published by Campus Crusade for Christ International in 1972, “[t]his manual has been designed and written to assist students to be more effective in their personal witness for Christ and in their walk with the Lord.”
