The album title uses a modified graphic version of Yagi Link Double, or maybe Yagi Link Light. This piece of typeface-derived lettering is integrated into the contour of a butterfly, simulating two red neon tubes with some highlights.
“Electronic Butterflies Play Instrumental-Hits” appears to be set in tightly spaced L&C Hairlinewith alternates. PLINC’s Futura Fineline would come close, too, apart from the full-round counter in a. “Including Tchip Tchip” features outlined Stencil (ATF) set on an angle.
The letter S is adapted to follow the path along the butterfly’s left wing, followed by a modified K made to connect on the top of the caps height. The Y is modeled after the third alternate (but with smaller top), then the second alternate of L with a very short horizontal in order to reduce the space to the following A (fourth alternate, but wider), and finally a modified version of the second B without joining the path.
