In 2010, Demian Conrad created a new visual identity for Gabbani. Established in 1937, the Lugano restaurant is one of the oldest delicatessen in the Italian part of Switzerland.

The logo is based on Plak Extra Condensed, a 1930s display typeface by Paul Renner, the designer of Futura.
