Marc Rouault’s Trois Mille (Sharp Type, 2020) is used on the posters for the end of term show by the students of Atelier F2 (or Ateliér fotografie II). Founded in 2018, the Studio of Photography at UMPRUM, the Academy of Arts Architecture & Design in Prague, is led by Václav Jirásek and Štěpánka Stein.

First shown under the title F2 Klauzury in the premises of the Prague Market (Pražská tržnice) in Holešovice from 9 to 12 September, the exhibition subsequently traveled to Berlin. Now titled Prag, it was put on display at the Haus der Statistik from 21 to 27 September 2020.

Trois Mille is used in several of its many widths and weights, exclusively in italics, and partly with a heavy contour around the letterforms. The Berlin posters additionally feature an unidentified gothic. [edit: It’s Topol, see comments.]

  1. The unidentified narrow sans serif featured on the Berlin posters is Topol by Heavyweight.
